This foundation course introduces the principles of microneedling and its applications within professional skincare, combining theory and practical learning to help you understand the equipment, products, techniques and safety considerations involved. Course fee: £1,000 per person Duration: 4 hours Available sessions: Tuesday, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, or Wednesday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm What the course covers: • Introduction to microneedling and its applications • Understanding microneedling equipment and products • Skin assessment, consultation and client suitability • Hygiene, infection prevention and treatment safety • Introduction to treatment techniques • Practical demonstrations and supervised learning • Product and equipment recommendations for those starting their professional journey • Professional responsibilities and insurance considerations • Guidance on further training and professional development Practical learning: Practical learning forms part of the course and may involve working on yourself or a suitable model, subject to suitability and appropriate safety arrangements. Entry requirements: This course is intended for eligible beauty professionals who hold a relevant Level 3 qualification or are studying towards an appropriate qualification.
